We are looking for 14 Hour Part Time Member of staff for a Hair and Beauty trade store and adjoining training academy. Applicant will be comfortable to deliver to salons across Leeds/surrounding areas & leaflet drop. This is a Fixed Term Contract with a possible permanent contract.
Applicant must be willing to cover holidays & sick days. Normal days for the hours are Wednesdays & Thursdays. This role may involve covering our Bradford store on one of the days so the applicant would benefit from living in the Bradford/Pudsey area.
Hair and Beauty/Sales experience desirable but not needed. This job consists of delivering to local salons and a large amount of telephone calling for orders.

Sales Assistant
Reports to : Store Manager
Overall Job Purpose: To operate the day to day running of the trade store adhering to company guidelines and delivering the mission statements and values.
Main Responsibilities:Business & Sales
- Ensure knowledge and understanding of all current product promotions, incentives and mailer activities
- Have a sound product knowledge and attend training sessions as requested by the store manager.
- To promote all products including conversions to own Brand Products
- To promote and sell all areas of the business including the Training Academy & Special Events
- To support the Store Manager in the development of the Store Action Plan
Customer Experience
- To ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service and care at all times
- Ensure customers are greeted and welcomed in store
- Ensure that all customer needs are met
- To deliver a high level of Customer Experience
- To act in a manner that portrays the professionalism of the business
- To understand and practice the Adel Professional Mission Statement and Values
Operational Responsibilities
- Comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the Staff Handbook and Operations Manuals
- Responsibility for correct monies
- To ensure all merchandising/displays/stock/shelves are clean and tidy in accordance with Company standards and stock rotation is carried out
- To ensure all stock coding and pricing are correct
- To process deliveries and manage the stock file to achieve the best shelf presence possible
- Maintain the cleaning and housekeeping of the store
- Communicate with members of management on any issues and self-development
- Work additional hours when requested from the Store Manager
- Cover local stores when required by the company
- Carry out other tasks as delegated by Store Manager

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour
