We are a firmly established market leader in the distribution of components for heating and cooling applications, offering exceptional customer service, with an aggressive approach to innovation and growth, who are looking to expand further with the addition of an enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative at our Bristol branch branch. You must have a driving license and a reach forklift truck license
To succeed in this role, we will require you to be able to multi-task and work quickly and accurately, independently and as part of a team, to support our warehouse and delivery operations. We are looking for a candidate who has a good work ethic, excellent attention to detail and can pick up and follow processes quickly and right first time.
The role entails performing deliveries of customer orders, large and small, to multiple sites throughout the area and beyond. In addition to delivering to business premises and pick-up-drop-off points, you will collect customer returns and occasionally be required to collect orders from local suppliers.
When not performing deliveries, we will need your help in running our warehouse operations, which will include performing tasks such as:
- Receipting stock, checking and locating in warehouse
- Picking, packing and dispatching of orders
- Loading and offloading of delivery vehicles
- Warehouse, showroom and trade counter upkeep and branch housekeeping duties
- Stock checking and inventory management duties
- General warehousing activities
Working Week
- 40 hours Monday - Friday, plus every third Saturday morning on a rota basis
- National minimum wage applicable depending on age
Desired Skills
- Previous experience in a delivery drivers position and/or warehousing is strongly preferred
- Exposure to the spare parts / plumbing / merchant industries is advantageous but not essential
- Computer literacy to a reasonable standard
- Driving license and reach forklift truck license

Qualifications Required
Applicants for this role should ideally have GCSEs in the A*-D range, including mathematics and English (or equivalent). A full, clean UK driving license is required.
