We are recruiting for a Delivery Project Manager on behalf of our public sector client based in Romford.
This role is an interim post, initially 3-6 months with view for further extension. The day rate is £350 per day PAYE or £440.44 per day umbrella.
The role will work within the Housing Property Services Major Works and Direct Delivery Team.
The successful applicant will work alongside the Clerk of Works, Quantity Surveyors, Resident Liaison Officers and external contractors in delivering the programmes of planned works and improvements to the Housing stock, as well as new build programmes. The role reports to the Senior Project Manager.
Key duties will include:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, responsible for managing an individual caseload to successfully deliver the HRA Planned Works programme
- Provide an effective and responsive service to residents in relation to refurbishment, reinvestment and new build schemes
- The role will involve appointing consultants; project management; contract administration; supervising contractors; consultants and works; and health and safety. The successful applicant will also have budget management responsibility of the projects
- In order to achieve high resident satisfaction and monitor and manage performance to ensure standards are met
The role is a hybrid role, however there will be projects which require site attendance. The client expects the successful applicant to be on site as much as is necessary to run their projects.
