Sunday to Thursday (Evenings between 3pm and 8/9pm)
We are a growing Ironing, Laundry and Dry cleaning business. We require a delivery driver to pick up and drop off from customers houses. This can include 20 to 40 stops on an evening. We work between Barnard Castle, Darlington, Richmond, Teeside, Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas.
We are looking for someone to have good customer service levels, who is well organised and a safe and good driver. The role will require having a decent level of fitness as you are carrying heavy laundry and will be in and out the van often.
We require someone who is punctual (being on time is crucial for this job) hard working and wants to grow with the business. There is the possibility of earning extra money if you are the right person and have the right attitude.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a driver with knowledge of Darlington and local areas is preferred.
- Understanding of how to look after a vehicle and being able to report any faults is an advantage.
- Ability to navigate using GPS on an IPhone is very important as you are using our software.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours of driving
Skills:
- Ability to use an iPhone and the route navigation software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive and operate a delivery van safely and responsibly
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
