Description
- Coordinate the submission of forecast data from the commercial teams within a defined region.
- Conduct statistical analysis of historical data and market insights to validate the commercial forecast and generate a consensus demand forecast.
- Take ownership of the consensus demand forecast, and maintain it in the system to drive the correct production and purchasing requirements
- Monitor, analyse and report on product demand trends.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure supply meets demand.
- Prepare and present demand forecasts to senior management.
- Contribute to procurement and supply chain planning processes.
- Identify potential challenges and propose solutions.
- Leverage data analysis tools and techniques to drive decision making.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Profile
- Degree educated (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
- Detailed understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and their connection with the broader business, including Commercial and Finance
- Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook to an advanced level
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
