Roles and responsibilities of a Demand Planner
- Global customer demand data analysis and forecast projections.
- Conduct forecast projections per product family.
- Maintain forecast module settings in ERP system.
- MPS forecast upload and data maintenance.
- Support SIOP process by gathering the required data. Prepare statistical analysis of Sales, Inventory, and other data.
- Create presentation to conduct SIOP monthly meetings to improve revenue, on time performance and inventory forecasting.
- Analyse Supply vs Demand to optimize Supply Chain strategy.
- Identify supply and demand issues (gaps to plan), identify scenarios to mitigate, and prepare recommendations for senior leadership review.
Skill and experience needed for this Demand Planner role
- 4+ years’ experience in Customer demand and production control planning
- Experience leading demand teams using forecast accuracy and bias with statistical data to drive improved customer forecast accuracy and optimized inventory
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills required
- Strong working knowledge of ERP Systems and logic, specifically demand forecasting and simulation modules.
- Up to 10% global travel (Able to travel to Mexico, USA, Europe, Asia
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, Power BI, Power Point, Outlook
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Bachelor’s Degree required
