Demolition CCDO Supervisor, London, £21 - £25p/h

Reachout Recruit are looking for Demolition CCDO Supervisor's to work in London area. The Demolition Supervisor will need to have strong demolition industry experience as they will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the demolition process on construction sites. This includes ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with team members and subcontractors, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in demolition work, excellent leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities of the Demolition Supervisor: 

• Develop and implement demolition plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise and manage demolition workers and subcontractors.
• Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
• Ensure all demolition activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct morning briefings
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Address any issues or problems that arise during the demolition process.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and report progress to project managers.
• Identify potential issues and develop solutions to overcome challenges.
• Make quick, informed decisions to keep the project on track.
• Handle emergencies and unexpected issues promptly and effectively.

Skills required for the Demolition Supervisor: 

• CCDO Gold card preferable
• CCDO card with SSSTS or SMSTS,may be suitable
• Previous hands on demolition experirence
• Thorough knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
