Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Administer local anaesthesia as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalised recommendations for at-home care
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
- Document patient treatment plans, progress, and notes accurately in patient records
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Skills:
- Good positive attitude and honest morals
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
The position available is part-time and permanent.
