Dental Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our agency. As a Dental Nurse, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments, materials, and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during treatments
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Ensure the comfort of patients throughout their visit
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and trimming study casts

Skills:
- Registered Nurse with relevant qualifications
- Proficient in IT systems used in dental practices
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Must have current GDC registration

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Pay: £14.50-£16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
