Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and office skills, as well as a friendly and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry - Banking duties such as cashing up. - New patient registrations -Ensuring the reception and entrance area creates a welcoming environment for our patients
Skills:
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Work experience and skills
- Previous dental reception experience desirable but not essential

- Services we provide include General and Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants, Invisalign, Smile Makeover, Whitening, Dentures and Hygiene therapists with 3 surgeries.
- Support of full time Practice Manager
- Continious Development compliance suite.
Driving License: Preferred.
Education: GCSC or equivalent.
Work requirement: Late evenings and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 365 days
Pay: £25,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
