You will be expected to plan, develop and deliver teaching to Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy students as part of their Diploma Programme. As teaching is integrated throughout the School, the appointee may also teach dental students as necessary. Teaching will principally involve clinical supervision, tutorials, lectures and project supervision.
You should have a Diploma (Dental Therapist) or equivalent experience and hold full registration with General Dental Council. Significant experience in clinical dentistry is essential along with knowledge of the duties and requirements of Dental Care Professionals.
The appropriate honorary clinical contract will be requested from the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
