Position Overview: As a Dental Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive oral care to our patients. Working closely with our experienced dental team, you will be responsible for performing a range of dental procedures and treatments to promote oral health and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Dental Treatment:

• Conduct routine dental examinations and assessments.
• Provide preventive dental care, including scaling and polishing.
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply fissure sealants.
• Carry out restorative procedures, such as placing fillings.

Periodontal Care:

• Perform periodontal assessments and treatment.
• Provide advice on oral hygiene practices and demonstrate proper techniques.
• Educate patients on the importance of maintaining good gum health.

Patient Communication:

• Establish rapport with patients and create a comfortable dental experience.
• Clearly communicate treatment plans, options, and post-treatment care instructions.
• Address patient concerns and inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.

Collaboration with Dental Team:

• Work collaboratively with dentists, dental hygienists, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in case discussions and treatment planning meetings.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Document treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient communications.

Qualifications:

• Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Proven experience as a Dental Therapist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
