The company, a leading supplier of tools and machinery across a huge range of industries, is looking to bring on an enthusiastic candidate looking to develop and diversify their skills and knowledge of generators and other plant machinery.
In this role, you will primarily be working as a part of the depot team, working in collaboration to carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance of hire equipment, fault finding, and updating service records whilst maintaining a clean and safe working environment and adding to workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will have experience servicing, maintaining, and fault finding on diesel generators as a part of a team and will be looking to gain some work-life balance by taking a step into a depot-based role, allowing them to use their in-depth mechanical and electrical knowledge.

The role:

• Service and maintain hire equipment and conduct electrical testing when required
• Perform various levels of refurbishment on equipment
• Liaise with supervisors to ensure cost effective repairs
• Update and check service records on the in-house system

The Person:

• Relevant Engineering qualification e.g NVQ or City & Guilds, or otherwise time-served
• Full UK driving license
• Minimum 1 year's experience post-qualification in maintenance/service engineering role
