Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Depot Leader on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a permanentbasis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and compliance of a team of drivers and associated vehicles collecting redundant It Assets from customer sites and returning them to the Braintree depot for processing.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing drivers to ensure effective team operation.
- Conducting training sessions for drivers to update them on policy, procedure and systems.
- Ensuring trunking and waste note paperwork is completed accurately.
- Working with the logistics operations manager to ensure depot targets are achieved.
- Working with the scheduling team to ensure maximum efficiency of collection routes.
- Providing Scheduling team with resource requirements to assist with quotations.
- Maintaining filling system for daily job paperwork.
- Liaising with fleet hire company to arrange repair, servicing, and inspection of vehicles.
- Passing on escalations from site teams to scheduling and contributes to solutions.
- Maintaining accurate paperwork to meet the FORS and Operator licence requirements.
- Flexible in approach to workload and customer requirements contributing to solutions for last minute changes.
- Willing to work away from home on occasion.
- Conducting site surveys where required to assist with quotations.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the depot and vehicles.
- Complying with Company Policies & Procedures (HR, Health & Safety, ISO Certifications, Other Industry Accreditation)
- Maintaining site security and adhere to security policy & procedure.
- Maintaining good housekeeping practices.
- Completing any other reasonable instruction from management.
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a Staff management role is preferable.
- Has a working knowledge of FORS and Operators Licence requirements.
- Familiarity with handling and transporting IT equipment is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Working hours are Monday Friday, 7.30am 4.30pm.
In return our client offers a salary of up to GBP33,900 per annum.
