Deputy Care Manager - Domiciliary and Supported Living Care Company

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to support the management team in the day-to-day operations of a high-quality domiciliary and supported living service based near to the Blackburn area.

The Role:

• Work closely with the Registered Manager to effectively run the service
• Promote a positive culture in line with the company ethos and values
• Provide inspired leadership to the team ensuring exceptional service is delivered to clients
• Support the recruitment and training of Care Professionals and the office team
• Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to by all employees
• Ensure the carers and suport workers are fully compliant and speak to clients, families and support workers on a regular basis.
• Supervisions, spot checks, care plans, risk assesments etc.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience in a Deputy Care or Care Manager role in a related care setting
• The ability to multi task and perform under pressure
• Good knowledge and understanding of compliance and legislative requirements of the Care Standards regulations
• Good working knowledge of IT Systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
