We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Chief of Staff to join our dynamic Vice Chancellor's Office. This role is a rare opportunity to be part of a team that helps to guide and support the University’s senior team.  In this pivotal role, you will lead and coordinate a variety of strategic, high-profile projects and institutional activities that play a crucial role in supporting the Vice Chancellor and the Director of Strategic Planning and Chief of Staff. To be successful in this role, you will: demonstrate considerable experience in senior leadership or advisory roles within complex organisations. showcase a track record of delivering first-rate strategic support, advice, and guidance to senior leaders. be a highly motivated leader that can build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels. bring superb organisation skills and be adept at juggling complex workloads act as a credible and personable representative of senior colleagues, including the Vice-Chancellor. maintain discretion and handle sensitive, confidential information with tact and diplomacy. excel in communication and be well versed at responding to ‘in the moment’ as well as planning for success.  A strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion is a must, coupled with a genuine passion for working at Loughborough University.
