Job description

Job summary Are you an exceptional operational leader with a passion for making a meaningful impact in healthcare? Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the post holder will work with the Clinical Directorate teams to ensure the delivery of performance indicators across clinical specialities/services.
This is a very senior position, and it's the perfect opportunity for an ambitious professional. You will be working closely with our COO, collaborating on strategic initiatives to enhance patient care, streamline processes, and drive efficiencies.
Specifically, the post holder will be responsible for providing high-level operational leadership and planning ensuring safe, high quality and efficient delivery of the day to day operational management of the Trust, which meets the needs of patients, achieves set and agreed standards and financial targets. The post holder will also make a major contribution to United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT).
Main duties of the job The post-holder is managerially responsible for:

  • Daily Operational Oversight of all clinical services
  • Performance management of Clinical Directorates
  • Decontamination
  • Radiation Protection Committee
  • Delivery of key operational standards, in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer
  • The post is also professionally responsible for the Senior Business Managers

Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area. It provides a number of services, including an outpatient department, diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as a surgical ward.
