Description
- Support the Company Secretary in all matters of corporate governance
- Ensure the company complies with financial and legal requirements
- Manage and oversee risk management strategies
- Coordinate board meetings and prepare relevant documents
- Advise the board and management on company law and governance
- Act as a key point of contact for external regulators and advisers
- Oversee the company's corporate governance framework
- Assist in the development of company strategy and policy
Profile
The successful Deputy Company Secretary should have:
- Relevant qualifications in Law, Business Administration or equivalent
- Experience in corporate governance and risk management
- Experience within the not-for-profit or charity sector
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
