Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead - Exeter College

Full Time 37 hours per week (hours flexible for the right candidate)

Salary: GBP30,099 - GBP32,319 per annum, plus excellent benefits

About the Role
Exeter College is looking to appoint an experienced, talented, and inspirational DDSL to join our outstanding safeguarding team within the Student Services Department.

As the DDSL, working closely with the Director of Student Services and Safeguarding Leads, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and disseminating best practice in safeguarding across the College and a first point of contact for safeguarding intervention. You will provide direction on all matters of Child Protection and Safeguarding and ensure that the College complies with all relevant legislation and safeguarding duties, including delivery of training.

About you
Successful applicants will need to be prepared to work flexibly, demonstrate resilience, and have in-depth knowledge of safeguarding policy and procedure, as well as the ability to work under pressure and be able to communicate effectively at a multi-agency level and with learners of all ages.
