Job description

St Catherine’s College is seeking to recruit a Deputy Director of Development to join our Development Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced front-line fundraising professional to advance their career and play their part in the success of a major capital campaign.

The main purpose of the post is to raise money for the College’s key priorities through face-to-face fundraising and by having responsibility and strategic oversight for the College’s regular giving programme, legacy programme, and all related stewardship activity. This will be achieved through identifying and cultivating a pool of prospects who can donate £50,000 and more to the College and by effectively line-managing the Development Officer and Gift Administration & Data Officer to enhance and implement the regular giving, legacy, and stewardship programmes.

The post holder will also be responsible for the general day-to-day running of the office administration, including gift processing, data-entry, and budgeting, ensuring effective and efficient systems are in place for successful fundraising and alumni relations programmes.

The salary is set within the range £42,978 - £51,283 (SP35 - SP41) per annum, comprising 35 hours per week. In addition, benefits include free use of the College gym, a generous leave allowance, free meals whilst on duty, and a season ticket loan scheme for travel.

Further particulars and details of how to apply are available on the college’s website.

The closing date for receipt of applications is midday on Sunday 17th March.

We reserve the right to close the post early if sufficient applications are received.
