Deputy Head Of Internal Audit

We have an excellent opportunity to join a leading financial services business as a Deputy Head of Internal Audit. The organisation is undergoing an exciting period of change, and Internal Audit is a well-regarded business partner.
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, this role will manage the small team and external co-source, whilst still being relatively hands on. In the absence of the Head of Audit, you will need to step up and get involved with strategizing and Audit Committee presentations.
To be considered you must be either ACCA, ACA or IIA qualified. Alongside people management exposure, you must have experience working within a broad financial services focused Internal Audit position where you have audited areas like treasury, risk, AML and operations. If you have knowledge of IT audit (ITGCs) and programme assurance, it will be highly sought after.
This role can be performed in a hybrid pattern, with approx. two days expected in the office, the remainder of the week you can be remotely based. The is flexible working available, and potential for the position to be undertaken on a compressed hours/part time basis too.
In terms of package, this will realistically exceed six figures, with a good base salary, a market leading pension allowance and wider benefits.
