Deputy Headteacher

An excellent opportunity has arisen for passionate and experienced leaders to join our Senior Leadership Team as Deputy Headteachers.

We are looking to appoint two Deputy Headteachers for our Didcot schools, one based at Aureus Primary School, and one at Manor Primary School, both of which are overseen by one experienced Headteacher.

A strong track record in leading and developing teaching, learning and curriculum will be very advantageous.

The successful candidate will be a motivated Assistant Headteacher seeking promotion, or an experienced Deputy Headteacher looking for their next move into a large Trust with multiple progression opportunities. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, with the ability to model and demonstrate the key characteristics of effective teaching and learning, and to support the implementation of the curriculum. Leading positively, professionally, and enthusiastically, you will support us in maintaining high standards and expectations across the schools, and more widely within GLF Schools.

About the Schools

Both schools sit within a cluster of 6 Oxfordshire Primary schools, all overseen by a Regional Education Director. Along with Manor Primary School and Aureus Primary School in Didcot, our cluster comprises: William Morris Primary School, Longford Park Primary School, Hardwick Primary School, and Cherry Fields Primary School in Banbury.

Salary: L6 - 10
