An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Deputy Headteacher following the successful appointment of the previous DHT to Headteacher.
Hordle CE Primary School and Nursery is an outstanding school in the New Forest. We are
extremely proud of our school. We are ambitious for all pupils who achieve high academic
outcomes at the end of Key Stage Two. A broad and balanced curriculum is important to us, and we have created the FIT curriculum - a unique curriculum that enables pupils to become fit for life - which is rooted strongly in our school values and ensures pupils live life in all its fullness. We have a strong Christian ethos and our TAIL values (Teamship, Aspiration, Identity and Learning) underpin our approach to all aspects of teaching and learning.
We are seeking an ambitious, inspirational and highly professional team member with the energy, drive and commitment to raise standards for all children across the whole school. You will be an outstanding teacher with demonstrable coaching and mentoring skills to work with all staff to further develop teaching, learning and the curriculum across our setting.
The successful candidate will take on a significant leadership role alongside a teaching commitment. Dedicated leadership time and the opportunity to work in close partnership with the Headtreacher will be provided together with regular professional development opportunities.

Lead teaching and learning through coaching, mentoring and leadership that secures and sustains high expectations, outcomes and excellent practice throughout the whole school
Commit to engaging with all stakeholders, managing and maintaining effective relationships with governors, parents, children and the wider community
Take a full and active part in all aspects of our school community
Support the development of a healthy work life balance
