Deputy Home Manager

Our client, a leading provider of residential and specialist care homes, is on the lookout for a Deputy Home Manager with a knack for person-centered care planning and a positive, can-do attitude. This role is all about providing specialist nursing support, taking the reins in the Home Manager's absence, and coaching colleagues to deliver unparalleled empathetic care.
As a Deputy Home Manager, you'll be rewarded with a salary of £36,836 and £39,239. You'll also have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of residents, and work within a supportive and dedicated team.

As a Deputy Home Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing specialist nursing support and advice
• Taking charge of resident care in the Home Manager’s absence
• Supervising and coaching colleagues to deliver empathetic care
• Recognising signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and taking appropriate action
• Keeping meaningful records and managing time effectively

• A background in person-centred care planning within a care home
• Excellent, positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people
• The ability to be a great mentor and manage time effectively
• The ability to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and take appropriate action
