Job description

Clinical Deputy Home Manager - up to £53350 - High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire - 38 hours per week (100% supernumerary )

You will join this service as a Deputy Manager reporting directly to the Registered Manager, playing an important part of the onsite clinical coordination of the service.

  • You will support the manager in leading and supervising a large staff team to deliver the highest standards of care.
  • You will work with the local community, GP's and professionals to deliver care that truly enables residents to continue to lead as full a life as possible.

Main Responsibilities

  • To assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment.
  • To co-ordinate and lead the nursing team to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
  • To always comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • To ensure the smooth and effective running of the Nursing units within the home and liaise with external health professionals.
  • To provide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the Service
  • Will have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughput the service.

Leadership (information available on leadership duties)

The Ideal Candidate

  • Nurse Qualified with a valid NMC Pin
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse in the UK
  • Experience of supporting the elderly A strong knowledge of person-centred care
  • Working closely with each resident, assessing their needs, and delivering a care plan that helps each person to live a fuller life.
  • You ll provide the very best levels of care, make sure that all procedures are carried out to the highest of standards and optimising the wellbeing of every resident.
