Deputy Manager

Wardley Gate Care Centre is a residential care home in Wardley, Gateshead. Part of family run company Enhanced Care Group offers high quality residential, nursing and dementia care across the north-east.

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our family and be proud to be part of the team. Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own - could this be you?

What we need from you?

• At least two years management experience within a care setting
• A NVQ Level 5 is preferred but not essential
• Experience with a CQC Inspection

Responsibilities

• Manage and co-ordinate day-to-day activities within the service.
• Ensure good practice within services.
• Management of teams and individuals
• To establish and maintain effective communication
• Participate in the On-Call system.
• Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, carrying out additional shifts if necessary.
• Undertake additional activities such as attendance at conferences and involvement in project groups to continuously develop as an individual and the organisation.

Job Type: Full-time
