Role overview
This company is currently looking to recruit an experienced Deputy Manager to work within their Adults Supported Tenancies.
The Main Duties of the role include:
- To support the Manager of Supported Tenancies on a day to day basis to manage the designated services.
- To manage and supervise staff at designated supported tenancies locations.
- To promote the welfare of vulnerable adults in supported tenancies to ensure they are protected from harm.
- To ensure and demonstrate compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies in the designated services
- To provide a responsive service using appropriate methods of assessment and intervention within relevant statutory and company requirements
- To develop the skills required to manage Adult Services including up to date knowledge about relevant legislation, national policy and procedures
- To develop skills and knowledge to meet the leadership and management competency framework required by external regulation.
- To deputise in the absence of the Manager of Supported Tenancies
Hours of work: 37 per week to be worked on a rota basis, subject to the needs of the Company. This will include weekends and bank holidays. There is a also a requirement to ‘sleep-in’ from time to time for which you will be notified in advance and an additional payment will be made.
