Halcyon Health and Social Care is proud to represent our client, a premier children's service provider, who`s currently looking for an experience Deputy Manager to join their expanding team. Our client, with a 'Good' rating from the CQC, is driven to achieve 'Outstanding' status and seeks a dynamic individual to help realize this goal. They specialize in providing care for children with learning disabilities, autism, and emotional behavior disorder (EBD).

**Role and Responsibilities:**

As the Deputy Manager for the Ofsted Children's Service, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Registered Manager in leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care within Ofsted regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Manager in the overall management and daily operations of the designated service.
- Providing comprehensive support to the children in care, including service management administrative duties and participation in the on-call rota.
- Collaborating with the Manager and team to ensure service delivery is based on values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfillment.
- Ensuring Team Leaders and Support Workers understand and appropriately respond to the complex needs of the children.
- Maintaining appropriately skilled staffing levels and conducting regular audits to ensure quality and compliance with internal and external requirements and regulations.

**Requirements:**

- Level 3 Diploma or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
- Previous experience working with children and leading a team in a supervisory role
- Good standard of general education, including Maths and English
- Understanding of inspection procedures and adherence to Ofsted CQC Fundamental Standards
- Ability to work under pressure, lead a team, communicate effectively, and promote independence
- Clean driving license and access to a car
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, sleep-ins, and/or waking nights
