I am working with a client who is currently recruiting for a compassionate Deputy Manager to join their team at their service in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an integral part of the team ensuring the individuals we support can live as independently as possible.

As a Deputy Manager, you will be working with 11 individuals who have a tenancy for their own flat. The individuals we support have enduring mental health needs. The emphasis of the care at this service is on inclusion, skills development and consolidation, risk reduction, and relapse prevention. Within the Deputy Manager role, you will support the continued development of the service, understanding the importance of delivering a holistic approach to promoting recovery and independence.
A bit about my client:
They have been operating across Lancashire and Yorkshire for over 20 years, as a Mental Health, Learning Disability and Rehabilitation provider, offering support to adults. They are dedicated to delivering recovery-focused Mental Health Services within innovative, creative, and inspiring environments.
The ideal Deputy Manager will:
- Ensure that individuals we support have the opportunity to strive for self -determination, independence, and choice to gain as much control over their own lives as possible.
- Ensure the service is compliant with the relevant Regulations and with contractual requirements.
- Support the Service Manager with KPI and governance-related reporting in line with the service Governance structure.
- Take the lead on the day-to-day “shop floor” leadership and provide mentoring to teams.
- Ensure that all clinical and therapeutic interventions are recovery-focused and in line with our service model.
- Lead the team in ensuring high-quality, up-to-date clinical documentation that is person-centred and recovery-focused.
