The role of Deputy Manager will support the wider management team to drive sales and service through the effective management of your own department. You will be working in a multi-million pound turnover store which has seasonal peaks and troughs therefore and understanding of how to manage your team effectively both in the busy and quieter periods is essential. You will be responsible for analysing sales data to identify ways to drive sales and profitability through commercially sound visual standards.
The ideal candidate will come from a customer facing, retail background and have had exposure to working in a high turnover environment. You’ll be an experienced people manager who has a natural leadership style that can motivate their team to deliver the world class customer service standards that are expected within the business.
In return they are looking to pay a salary of up to £31,000 with a performance related annual bonus of up to 12% of your salary. The shift patterns for this role are perfect for someone looking for a work/life balance. They work on a two week cycle where you work four days a week, with three days off. In the second week you have Saturday and Sunday off work meaning you only work two weekends per month!
