Deputy Manager – Rough Sleepers Team
Salary: from £27,381.90
37 hours per week on a rolling rota basis. Some early morning, weekend and evening work is involved.
We are looking to appoint a Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day management of Brighter Futures Rough Sleepers services and associated funded services in and around Stoke on Trent and parts of Staffordshire. The post holder will be required to support the development of the team in providing a customer facing support services to ensure the team meets required service standards and achieves operational targets agreed annually.

We are a registered Housing Association providing accommodation, outreach support and a wide range of other community-based support services, supporting and empowering our customers. We support people with mental health ill health, learning disabilities, addictions, people who may become socially isolated, people who may have come into contact with the criminal justice system, experienced homelessness and a range of trauma related issues.
You must have good communication skills, both oral and written and knowledge and experience working with windows-based software, including excel, email and the internet.
We are looking to appoint someone who has experience in managing sensitive, stressful and at times, traumatic incidents. The ideal must be self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude whilst working with vulnerable groups of people with complex needs. The person must have the ability to work under pressure and remain calm in difficult situations.
