TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic day nursery based within Taunton who are looking for an exceptional Deputy Nursery Manager to join their fantastic team. The nursery work within a mixed-age environment, with different activities set up to cater for the different age groups and the different areas of development. The current team work hard to ensure they deliver an exceptional level of care and support for all of the children they care for, ensuring that the children settle in well to nursery routine and build strong relationships with their key person.
The nursery is currently searching for a Deputy Manager to join their team. The role’s responsibilities include the day-to-day running of the Nursery when the Lead Manager isn’t present, as well as ensuring the safety of the staff and children within the setting. The ideal applicant must have strong organisational skills, and will have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and up-to-date Safeguarding policies and procedures.
The successful Deputy Manager will:
- Hold a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or above
- Must have previous experience in an Early Years Setting
- Excellent knowledge & understanding of the EYFS
