We are recruiting for a Deputy Nursery Manager for a permanent full time role within an early years setting in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire

- 26k - 328K per annum
- 1000 joining bonus on completion of probation period
- Full time hours Monday to Friday

- Hold minimum level 3 childcare qualification
- Either 4 years as a room leader/Third in charge or 1 year as a Deputy manager
- Experience leading a team within an early years setting
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of the EYFS
- Actively promote and support the protection of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring that all staff and volunteers observe nursery policies and procedures to keep children safe from harm.
- Help lead and support staff to implement the EYFS
- Monitor and evaluate practice within playrooms to support improvements.
- Work with parents/carers of all children to achieve full integration in the nursery.
- Foresee the needs of all children, families and staff and give wellbeing guidance as appropriate.
- Support all staff and lead a good staff team with high morale.
- Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members.
- To promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors
