Deputy Playgroup Leader

To assist the Playgroup leader in the day to day running of the playgroup as part of the staff team. The deputy leader will firstly be responsible to the leader and secondly to the committee. The deputy leader will support the leader in providing a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families..

Or QCF Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development or equivilent with applicant working towards or to be enrolled in QCF Level 5 CCLD.

A minimum of two years experience working in a pre-school education setting.

Knowledge of minimum standards and Northern Ireland pre-school curriculum and QCF Level 5 in Childcare, Learning and Development or equivalent.

Up to date Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid and Health & Safety training.

Relevant experience in managing an early years setting and ability to work well within a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Experience in observations and record keeping.
