Nelson Recruitment Services are excited to be recruiting for a number of Deputy Store Managers for a large branded supermarket based in the Castle Donington area.
Pay rate: £12.60 per hour with a £4.00 hourly increase when the Store Manager is out of the business and you take full responsibility of the store. +20% premium for unsocial hours (2200-0600)
Hours of work: Monday to Saturday between the hours of 0500 - 2215 and Sunday 0700 - 1700.
Part time and Full time hours are available. 25-40 hour contracts available.
Your duties will include assisting the Store manager with the following duties:
- Authorise duties of shop floor staff
- Handle complaints
- Determines suspension of employees in the store
- Authorise working hours, time off, breaks and overtime
- Authorising refunds and cash voids on tills.
- This will be a 90% shop floor and 10% admin role.

- shift and people managing
- opening and closing of the store
- alarm calls and shop floor work
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Setting KPI targets for individuals in your team
- Ideally experience in food retail but not essential.
- Physical management role with shop floor management experience.
- Minimum requirement to work one open per week which will be a 0500 start and one close per week which will be a 2215 finish and one weekend day.
