Design and Marketing Technician

Our client is an established production company based in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. They are currently looking for a Design and Marketing Technician to start immediately to assist their busy team on a temporary basis.
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience within a Design and Marketing role, have excellent knowledge and experience of Adobe Suite, have an excellent attention to detail and be able to start immediately.
As a Design and Marketing Technician you will assist with the Design and production of all marketing and promotional material for the company in a cost effective and timely manner, using the Adobe Creative Suite, liaising with required staff to Design and prepare all promotional materials as required as well as assisting with the Design and production of product instructions, promotional leaflets and point of sale posters as required for external customers.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:
Demonstrable experience within a Design and Marketing role Possess an excellent knowledge and experience of Adobe Suite Ability to work in a team as well as independently Have a good attention to detail Be able to start in this role immediately Your duties as a Design and Marketing Technician will include:
Assisting with the Design and production of all marketing and promotional material for the company in a cost effective and timely manner, using the Adobe Creative Suite Assisting with the liaison with required staff to Design and prepare all promotional materials as required Assisting with the liaison with departments to ensure labels and other relevant material is designed and printed correctly, as well as using the cutting machine Assisting with the Design and production of product instructions, promotional leaflets and point of sale posters as required for external customers Designing and producing stationery and forms as required internally by the company Assisting with the Design and production of annual Price Lists and Catalogues as required and to agreed deadlines Supplying suitable images via email, dropbox or We Transfer as required by customers to aid in production of their websites and printed productions Taking product photographs for promotional use, both in-house and on-site when required to do so Preparing images for use in documents Creating video footage using Adobe after effects Producing in-house or externally source signage for use at any of the company premises Assisting when required, in the preparation of promotional material for Trade Shows and Exhibitions Making sure that all essential material is prepared prior to absence from the Design Studio, or that other staff members are able to step in during periods of absence Carrying out any other duties as and when required, to facilitate the effective operation of the Department and the Company under the instruction of the Design and Marketing Technician, the Directors or Senior Managers Salary:

Hours:
Monday Thursday, 8am 5pm and Friday 8am 4pm (36.5 hours per week)
6 8 weeks temporary contract
