An exciting opportunity has become available for a Design Co-ordinator (Commercial) to lead and manage the services professional commercial quantity surveying team, tasked with the financial management and delivery of a wide range of multi-trade, non-housing, construction projects for internal client budget holders.

The successful candidate will report on project commercial matters, day to day contract administration issues, change control outcomes and contractual matters, to the Group Manager (Design).

You must be a fully qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor with substantial professional experience, along with experience of JCT/SBCC Forms of Contracts.

Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS/FRICS) is essential, with knowledge of procurement regulations and experience in a Local Authority design team environment being desirable.

We currently operate a hybrid model of working, however you will be required to travel throughout North Lanarkshire to undertake the duties of this post.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
