Your new role
As the Design Engineer, you'll be reporting into the Design Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Production Management team. You will take control of cradle to grave product life cycles, engaging with the end user swell as suppliers to ensure goods will arrive in preparation for demo and concept builds. You will be expected to problem solve on a daily basis whilst producing technical drawings consistently.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Design Engineer role, you must have a proven track record in Mechanical Product design. Ideally you'll have worked with a variety of design software and consider yourself proficient in all Microsoft packages. Ideally you'll have engaged with customers, where you'll have developed the ability to say no and push back to them. It would be highly beneficial to hold a degree within a related Engineering field.
What you'll get in return
As the Design Engineer, you'll be paid an annual salary of up to £42,000 (dependent upon your experience).
