Have you had exposure to both Electrical and Mechanical design and are looking to join a forward thinking company, who are working on a variety of exciting projects in the rail industry, with tailored and mapped development plans and hybrid working options?
In this hybrid role you will be responsible for designing a variety of electrically and mechanically based systems in the rail sector, including switch gears, control panels and low voltage equipment. You will also attend site visits occasionally, to discuss specifications and get involved with cabling. There are clear routes to progress and develop into senior positions.

This role would suit a Design Engineer who ha had exposure to both electrical and mechanical design, who wants to build a career and develop internally.
The Role:
- Design a variety of Electrical systems, including switch gears, control panels and low voltage equipment (also some mechanical design)
- Site visits for specifications and cabling purposes
- Progression and development plans into senior roles
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (1pm finish on Fridays)
The Person:
- Design Engineer
- Exposure to Electrical and Mechanical Design
- Industrial, Rail, Heavy Engineering background or similar
- HNC/HND/Apprenticeship or Degree Qualified in an engineering field
