The Role:
- Create mechanical designs for Heat Exchangers to meet project specifications
- Participate in development of GES Net Zero products inc Hydrogen, Energy Storage & carbon Capture
- Participate and where required lead GES funded R&D projects around Hydrogen & Energy Storage
- Propose budgets based on subcontractor costs and internal estimating procedures
- Attend client meetings to support contract acquisition and maintain strong relationships
- Responsible for ensuring that technical risk is identified, minimised and acceptable
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of proprietary design and third-party software to effectively produce thermal designs
The Person:
- Degree in a technical discipline, preferably mechanical or process engineering
- Previous experience in Heat Exchanger and Pressure Vessel design, familiarity with Aspentech (HTFS)
