Salary – Up to £40,000 per annum plus additional benfits 

Location – Acton 

My client are currently recruiting for a Design Coordinator to work on a major station development based in Acton. This is working as part of the biggest infrastructure project in the UK. 

Design Coordinator accountabilities:

• Lead on control of all live registers for technical change and subcontractor Design Interfaces to enable successful delivery of the design.
• Support the Design Integration Leads on coordination for technical change and interfaces with the client and third-party contractors.
• Support the Design Interface Leads on coordination for Design Interfaces with the BBVS delivery managers and subcontractors.
• Own and manage access for BBVS master interface register for subcontractor design, ensure item owners are identified and items are fully populated.
• Own and manage access for the live BBVS technical change register, ensure item owners are identified and items are fully populated. Prepare version to be published and arrange internal review and formal issue.
• Own and update actions tracker for Design Interfaces & Change team.
• Ensure the Technical Change Procedure and Interface Management Plan is followed.
• Promote value engineering and innovation.

Design Coordinator essential requirements:

• Project delivery experience
• Building strong working relationships
• Communication in English (Verbal & Written)
• Microsoft Office

Design Coordinator desirables:

• Railway station delivery experience
• Design management experience
• Stakeholder management experience
• Prior experience of coordination of technical information on a project
• Project information portals (Projectwise, BC, Eb, BC)
