Position: Maths Teacher
- Location: Sheffield
- Contract: Full-time, long-term Temporary role (September 2024 to end January 2025)
- Potential extension beyond January, or could become permanent
- Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
- Pay: Excellent rates, dependent on your pay scale
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective DT lessons to secondary school students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Maths curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the overall educational experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position.
- Proven experience teaching DT at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for making DT accessible and enjoyable for students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
