September 2024 Opportunity for a Design Technology Teacher in Norwich, Norfolk!

We are hiring a qualified QTS/QTLS Design Technology Teacher for a school in Norwich outskirts.

This school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school who have happy and proud students. The leaders aim to develop well-rounded citizens and receive teaching that will enable them to succeed in life. Behaviour at the school is good, and the quality of education that the students receive is also good. The school also has a sixth form onsite as well. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons that foster creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills development.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum content and innovative teaching practices.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience for students.

Requirements of a Design Technology Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
• Experience as a Design Technology Teacher
• Demonstrated experience in teaching Design Technology at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in the field of design and technology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
