Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + discretionary bonus

Schedule: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
The role of the Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
- Designer position dealing with various roofing and Cladding Systems including: hot melt roofing, single-ply membranes, flat roofing, cladding, and rain screens
- Reviewing scopes of work and liaise with clients to gain an understanding of the projects
- Utilising AutoCAD and Revit to produce designs
- Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Estimating for projects ranging in value from £200k to £3m
- Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries
- Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
- Attend weekly design meetings
The ideal applicant will be Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
- Must have design experience within the UK construction market sector
- Ideally will have experience dealing with hot melt roofing, single-ply membranes, flat roofing, cladding, and rain screens
- Experienced user of AutoCAD / Revit
- Must have a good understanding of technical drawings
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, team play, who works well individually also
