Desktop Engineer required for a leading client based in Milton Keynes. My client is currently seeking a Desktop Engineer to come on board work full-time on client sites. This dynamic and stimulating role centers around supporting academic settings, collaborating with essential stakeholders, and actively seeking ongoing enhancements in technology and procedures. Responsibilities include managing installations, upkeep, and resolving issues pertaining to Windows 10/11 operating systems on laptops and desktops.

- Previous Desktop Support experience
- Handle responsibilities concerning the setup, upkeep, and resolution of issues related to Windows 10/11 OS on laptops and desktops.
- Conduct server OS administration tasks.
- Supply assistance for smartphones (Android & iOS), tablets (Android & iOS), printers, scanners, copiers, and other hardware devices.
- Offer support for academic hardware & software.
- Administer Office 365, including tasks like user account creation, Entra, Exchange Online, etc.
- Oversee various Microsoft products such as Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and MFA.
- Manage antivirus/security products.
- Execute cable patching and utilize remote access tools.
- Leverage ITSM tools for streamlined service delivery.
- Demonstrate robust technical skills, exhibiting proficiency and confidence in managing the aforementioned tasks.
- Exhibit outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Demonstrate a fervent passion for their field and a dedication to delivering high-quality, client-focused service.
- Possess or be eligible for DBS clearance.
