Description
Desktop Support Analyst role
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance of desktop and mobile devices, associated peripherals and software to deliver service excellence to users.
- Administer Via Active Directory and M365 portal, ensuring users have correct levels of access and are added and removed in a timely fashion to ensure effective use of Via IT systems.
- Evaluate, test and recommend software and hardware for use in the company to increase the efficiency of systems.
- Collaborate with the technology team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Ensure IT systems are secure and up-to-date.
- Train staff on new technologies and IT procedures.
- Manage IT projects from conception to completion.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on IT solutions to improve business operations.
Profile
Desktop Support Analyst role
Qualifications:
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Excellent hardware and software problem solving skills particularly in relation to desktop and laptop computers, network hardware and Office 365.
- A Microsoft Associate-level qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience of desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity gained in a multi-site environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of service desk operations.
