My client who are global software and services provider into the telecommunications domain are looking for a number of Desktop Support Engineers to join them on a contract basis in Glasgow.
**12 month Contract - Inside IR35**
** 5 days onsite in Glasgow **
Responsibilities:

  • Engaged in-person hands and Feet support to end users for issues with their laptops /desktops/ personal productivity devices.
  • lift and shift hardware devices.
  • Ensure a delightful customer experience through services provided
  • Day to day End user Support through Service Requests and Incident Management
  • End user software installations and upgrades
  • Update process documentation on an on-going basis
  • Partnering and facilitating support vendors
  • The role requires a high level of technical expertise in the application layer and systems administration responsibilities of the SCCM environment, Anti-Virus, Windows patching and Mobile Device Management.


Technical Skills:

  • 3+ Years experience in hardware and software: maintenance /support/troubleshooting/upgrading of end user devices - desktops & laptops.
  • MS Windows OS troubleshooting skills
  • HW troubleshooting skills
  • HW Peripheral devices troubleshooting skills
  • MS365 application knowledge
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Intune and SCCM
  • IMAC - Install /Move/ Add/ Change
  • Active Directory
  • L2/3 Support for Incidents, Problems and Requests escalated from L1
  • VIP user Support
