SalaryProvectus Recruitment have partnered with a high-tech manufacturing business near Cambridge, that are leading the development and manufacture of specialist sensor-based instrumentation used for measurement of matter. This company work in a rapidly growing market, with a customer base that is spread across the world.
Due to business acquisition and structural change, we are now seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to lead the full life cycle of all IT support, for 600 people across 15 different locations.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibility of this person will be to provide desktop related IT support to end users across a range of Microsoft products and hardware devices.
- Provide Support to end users for desktop related IT issues, escalating issues where appropriate and managing helpdesk tickets for issues
- Work closely with international IT users at all levels, as well as working closely with 3rd Party support providers
- Prepare hardware for use considering things such as systems, security, monitoring, restrictions etc
Provide support across the following domains:
- Windows 10 OS
- 365 Administration
- 365 Applications
- Windows Server User Admin
- MS Teams
- Hardware and Peripherals, (Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Phones etc)
