Despatch Loader & Picker

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Loader to join our team, based at our Manton Wood manufacturing site. The shift available is working Sunday, Monday, Thursday & Friday 05:30 – 16:00.

As a loader you will be responsible for the Warehouse Loading Area.

Ensure that all activities are conducted in line with Safe System of Work.
Listening to daily briefs with management and staff
Checking off outbound HGVs
Keeping to an outbound schedule
PPT checks/maintaining, reach truck duties, key control, bay control, keeping warehouse tidy, managing pallets outbound/inbound

When not loading HGVs, you will work with the product picking team and will have the following responsibilities.

Receive and check incoming pick tickets
Locate products using technology
Retrieve orders according to quantity etc. ensuring accuracy
Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
Wrap orders before loading on trucks
Keep records of completed orders
Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

What we’re looking for
Have credible experience of working in a busy warehouse/transport operation.
Good attention to detail and demonstrable self-discipline to manage your work tasks with minimum supervision, whilst being held duty accountable.
PPT/FLT certified preferred
Able to read and write in English
Diligent and punctual
Good physical strength and stamina
