Role Overview:
The Despatch Supervisor is integral to our logistics and distribution operations. This role demands a balance of leadership, operational oversight, and strategic planning to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely dispatch of products. The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading our team to achieve and exceed performance and productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and empower a team of pickers, fostering an environment of high performance, efficiency, and job satisfaction.
- Oversee the picking and dispatch process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
- Utilise warehouse management systems to monitor and manage operations effectively.
- Collaborate with the Despatch Manager and other key stakeholders to continually improve operational processes.
- Achieve and exceed set KPIs, both individually and as a team.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in people management, with a track record of motivating and leading teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Reporting Line:
- This position reports directly to the Despatch Manager, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our warehouse operations.

£27,000 - £29,000
Hours
42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm)
